Message	I've seen too many intel briefs to believe that any significant % of goverment interdictions in any country have shit to do with saving lives. I've people running slaves(yes, human slavery still exists) packed in semi's that we 'let go' because the person running the slaves gave 'intel' on a political target who wasn't even classified as 'hostile'. I've seen politicians pull control out from operational commands resulting in US soldiers being taken as POW's because the politicians want to 'look secure' by not having loaded weapons or Helmets. I wish we could bring our soldiers back home unless there is an honest 'Threat to National Security'. I hate to saound like an isolationist, but we need to look out after our own first...maybe if in Iraq we were saving starving millions, or something noble other than bungling up their infrastructure and logistics of food/fuel/electricity/water/etc. OK, I'm done..time to take my depressants. Ric, sorry to hear about your friend, I've been lucky not to lose anyone close, but it pisses me off when someone dies in a shitty situation, while people focus of stupid sh** like made for TV movies of Jessica Lynch who was rescued from her horrible cookies and Orange Juice experience @ the hospital.
